This is a very NICE set for the price, and I recommend it for small areas. I bought the Tobacco Black place, and it's not really a true black, but similar to a dark dark dark brown, almost black. I got this set to set up a vacant house I have on the market. This dining set will make the empty house feel considerably more homey, and it offers potential buyers a spot to sit down to write up an offer (I hope!). I assembled it without any help, and it took me about 2-1/2 hours. Setting it up out of your shipping box took nearly so long as the assembly.... fine, I'm exaggerating there, nonetheless it was VERY well packed, and every one of the items were in pristine condition. Due to the size total pounds of the shipping and delivery package (104 lbs), I opened the box where it was sent down stairs, and carried the pieces upstairs. Assembly was EASY, merely time consuming. I'm a saw, person, so assembly with only an allen wrench is certainly tedious for me. I did so work with my cordless drill to drive the screws that contain the seat section onto the seat. Nevertheless, you have to be careful when using a power drill so that you don't over-tighten the screws, which could cause them to completely go through the seat. When assembling the chairs, it's best to not totally tighten the allen bolts immediately. Tighten them to where they will be snug nevertheless, you still have a few more turns, then take the chair and set it upright on to the floor ( use a hard floor, not carpeting). After that take among the seats and devote on the chair and take a seat on it to have the chair level, then end tightening all the allen bolts, being cautious to not mess up the alignment you just made to get it level. Once completed, it looks great.
