This is a very NICE set for the purchase price, and I recommend it for small areas. I bought the Tobacco Black collection, and it's not really a true black, but similar to a dark dark darkish, almost black. I acquired this set to set up a vacant house I've for sale. This dining set produces the empty house feel considerably more homey, and it offers potential buyers a destination to sit back to create up an offer (I am hoping!). I assembled it without any help, and it took me about 2-1/2 hours. Setting it up from the shipping box took practically as long as the assembly.... fine, I'm exaggerating there, but it was VERY well packed, and every one of the items were in pristine condition. As a result of size total pounds of the shipping package (104 lbs), I opened the box where it had been provided down stairs, and carried the pieces upstairs. Assembly was EASY, simply time consuming. I'm a power tool, person, so assembly with only an allen wrench is tedious for me. I did use my cordless drill to drive the screws that contain the seat section onto the chair. Nevertheless, you have to be very careful when by using a power drill thus that you don't over-tighten the screws, that could cause them to totally go through the chair. When assembling the chairs, it's best to not totally tighten the allen bolts right away. Tighten them to where they happen to be snug but you still have some more turns, after that take the chair and set it upright on to the floor ( use a hard floor, not carpeting). After that take one of the seats and devote on the chair and take a seat on it to have the chair level, then end tightening all of the allen bolts, being cautious never to mess up the alignment you just made to obtain it level. Once performed, it looks great.
